sinew backing question

On sinew backing an ERC short bow, should it be decrowned ? It is a limb bow. Looks like a D cross section.

NO!!!!
Crowned sinew is the way to go on any wooden bow. Even accentuate the crown. The sinew still won't be near it's limits.
