Refinishing a bow
« on: May 08, 2015, 09:57:00 AM »
I'm wanting to refinish a Maddog Pup longbow for my daughter.  It was my son's and he has now outgrown the bow and she wants to shoot.  Wants to shoot the longbow but asked if I could "girly" it up a bit!

I want to make sure I get this right so if I remove the finish and paint the riser pink or purple, not sure I can locally find a stain in either color, what would be my best option for finishing, clear coat.

Thanks to all,
Chance

Is it black glass or clear?
You can get some stencils for cakes (cake stencils are smaller) and do something like I did with acrylic paint from wal ____

It is black glass. Great looking bow by the way.
