I am currently using Krystal Dull and Krystal Gloss from Big Jim. I use a 1.4mm tip.

I'm spraying 1.4 with Krystal. I think I read somewhere on ML Campbell's website that 1.2 was optimal. I originally tried it in my small gun, but its 0.8 tip was definitely too small and more suited to lacquer.

What are you spraying?

I'm using a DeVilbiss gun with a 1.0 tip to spray buffalo hide. You can use the same tip for gloss and satin, you just need to adjust the fluid tip open a little for satin. I've only sprayed one bow with it but I'm very pleased with the results.

Roughly 25% following the instructions on the cans. I mix enough for several coats and only spray what I need and store the rest in the fridge each day. I'll spray a coat and wait 24 hrs and sand with 320 as needed then put on the next coat. I do this for 4 coats of gloss then 2 coats of satin. I'm sure there are better methods, but this works for me. However, I'm always looking to improve!

For Thunderbird I like  a 1.0 If I want a High Gloss finish.  For Satin and Flat I use a 1.4
