Side Quiver
« on: August 09, 2015, 10:09:00 PM »
Anyone know of any good build-a-longs for a side quiver.  Back quiver dont interest me, I dont even own a pak sack. The only thing on my back is my shirt.

Here are a couple that I made recently.  The build a long is in the how to section.  Can't get a Link to work from my phone.  Patterns are there as well.  I made a few changes but substantially the same.

These are way more labor intensive than a back quiver!

Here is one I made for a friend that I used scraps of leather to make it...

this is a G.Fred Asbel style I made from an old Selway bow quiver...

...a couple of other Plains style side quivers I made...

...a coyote side quiver I made for a friend...

...a basket side quiver I made...

...and a side stalker style I made for the selfbow trophy at the first IBO Trad World at Twin Oaks...

You guys are really talented.  I made one out of wore out bluejeans.  Still looking for a way for a strap though.

Mark, add a stiffening stick like the Plains style quivers above and attach the strap to the stick. The stiffener stick allows it to carry the arrows safely.
