A new bow for my first bear hunt ( All Done )
« on: August 16, 2015, 11:48:00 PM »
Going bear hunting with Jerry Russell in exactly 1 month. So I figured I needed a new bow! Why not?!  Some Beautiful cocobolo and gaboon from Big Jim! Going to do this one on KennyM's form. Changing the riser a little bit to fit my personal liking. Also going to make it a 2 piece take down.

Now you've done it! You let Wayne see the fancy wood!    :scared:
The wood in the lams looks like an impressionist painting. Very nice! I can't wait to see the bow.

Think I'll nickname it the Monarch. Reminds me of a monarch butterfly. The floor is now open for everyone's jokes except Roy!

Now Roy, that ain't funny! I missed a hog about 30lbs at 7 yrds one time. Still mad at myself!

That is a beauty!
Roy is just jealous as usual.   :D
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.
