Thanks Elmont
« on: October 08, 2015, 01:09:00 AM »
My Binghams order arrived, more building materials.

Pretty excited.

Padauk riser block, should I use the phenolic accent  strip I bought or the zebra wood packing material that came on the actionboo? Decisions.

Nice.  What are you going to build recurve or longbow?  Binghams are top notch.

This is the phenolic and what I believe is     zebra bocote side by side.

Here is the edge grain of the zebra bocote still protecting my actionboo tapers.

I'm thinking zebra bocote accent strip with phenolic before and after with zebra overlay on the handle and tips. Oh yeah black glass for the limbs.

Thanks for that I'm not very familiar with either species. It's expensive stuff.

Waiting for a bow to cook is worse than watching paint dry.
