Hang in there, Roy.  Your grandson's bow is looking nice.
I finished the bow rack my daughter gave me for Christmas.  I'm running out of wall space...

Well Roy, you should ask the doc if he wants to borrow your newly sharpened rasps for the job!

Took my favorite bow out to shoot for the first time since I stripped it down to refinish it back in July. Man, I love this bow. I've been struggling with a really nice bow I got from Dave Miller, but I made this yew one just the way I like it and that's hard to beat. First arrows I've slung in 2 months, and I was happy with how I shot and ecstatic with how well the arrows seemed to fly and how quiet everything was on the shot out in the woods. Had a great stump shoot after a few rounds at the target but. Great way to end an otherwise productive day!

Glued down a trilam, Bamboo, Purpleheart and white Oak with Smooth-On. Straight limb with sligthly backset. These spring clamps have a heavy bite and the pivoting jaws have a concave surface so they fit on the rounded bamboo back.

I glued some snake skins on a Vine Maple bow today.  I'm making myself a new 3D target bow.

Good luck Roy.  Maybe if you slip the doc a little cash he can do a nip/tuck while he's got the knife out.

If a bow breaks and scares you half to death, but what happens if you get scared half to death twice? I'ts Friday.   :)

I always wanted to video a bow being worked on the tree and have it explode.

Well not really, but that would be neat to see.. LMAO

Roy, good luck and I hope you heal quickly. I am feeling better from my tumor removal back on the 5th..I got a few shots off a week ago, I am going to shoot a little tomorrow.. I got in the shop yesterday, refinishing a longbow, satin to gloss finish.. I really put the satin on thick and I'm getting a good work out hand sanding the glass. Gonna use a mouse sander on the edges and riser..

Get that chicken wing fixed Roy!

I still haven't found all the pieces of a bow that exploded on the tree a couple of years ago.
Ok, I have a messy shop...
It certainly was exciting though.    :knothead:
Heal up fast Roy.
