New to site...

Hello everybody...New here.I'm currently trying my hand at building a longbow.Bamboo backed ipe...any help would be appreciated.

There is currently a thread called new bamboo backed ipe bow, you could read through that and also use the search function and look for build alongs.
  Post pictures and ask questions as you start this bow, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of help here.

Figure out how to post pictures. There is a how too thread on that as well.

Thanks...I've got the backing glued on and was going to cut out,but blew a tire on my band saw.I've wanted to build my own for alot of years,just never got around t it.I did find some purple heart and curly maple might use for riser.

Hi...I'm in Neenah, but my name is actually Greg.  Tim Baker was one of the writers of The Bowyer's Bible series and my signature is just a quote from him from Vol. 1.  I do pretend to be him sometimes just to help me get through the tillering process.   :)

I camped at Wyalusing State Park a long, long time ago.  Beautiful area!  Gotta go back there one of these years.   :)
