Finished up a Hickory R/D
« on: February 07, 2016, 09:37:00 AM »
In a rush this morning but have wanted to post this for a week now. I finished a hickory R/D bow from a board that I worked down to 1 ring, next to zero ring violations on the back. First time I've done a bow this short, 56", in this design.

I am aware the lower limb has more reflex in it, but I didn't feel safe re-bending the top limb to match... Shoots fine as is too.

Anyway, I still don't trust this bow to sit at full draw for a pic, so I took a video and uploaded it to Youtube.

-How to make a bow-
Step one: Make a pile of shavings.
Step two: Shoot your new bow!
