Some zebra and cocobolo
« on: February 12, 2016, 06:51:00 PM »
This one I just finished up today. It turned out at 53#@28" it is 60" long I revamped somethings and really like them. Shot it awhile today and am pretty pleased.

And pleased you should be, very nice and love the wood combo

Beautiful!
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

Excellent work!  Zebra and cocobolo is one of my favorite combos.

Thanks. It's for a good buddy I made him his first bow about this time last year and he got a real nice buck with it last fall. I think he is hooked now and twisted my arm for a new bow. I hope he likes this one as much as his other one. I just need it to warm up a bit and spray some finish on it.

Another beauty...
You said you made some changes, what did you do?  Looks like maybe you changed the shape of the flare?
