I have several I like Elm as well. Any reason for wanting the 56 over the 58, I have noticed the shorter ones, although "Snappier" and a bit faster they are harder to control. I have realized that I cant shoot one under 60" regardless of the weight.

I have a 56 inch, 53# TD that should arrive any day. I had a one-piece and liked it but I shot a TD and I like the mass better so I sold the one-piece and put in my order. I have a 60 inch TD too and I don't have a problem with the 56 being finicky or pinching and I draw 29 inches. I think you will fin dthe red elm a nice performing bow for you. These should be great turkey and treestand bows.
