My Daughter's Bingham's Hybrid
« on: April 03, 2016, 04:14:00 PM »
This is the second one I've made on my form and it came out nice and true with even tiller, just like the first one.  Thanks Kenny M for the tips on making the form.
It's cocobolo and redheart with a curly maple accent strip and curly maple under the clear glass.  The overlay is bubinga.  I spent so much time finish sanding just to get a decent finish using rattle cans that I've decided to make the leap and buy a compressor and spray gun.
Thanks again for all the great tips and advice that are posted on here!

Your daughter is going to love it - great job.

Did you stain those curly laminations prior to glue up?  They look really sharp.

Thanks guys!  Scott, I used aniline dye on the curly maple lams before I glued it up.
