Kildog,
I have about a dozen 2018s if they might work. I will ship them to you, just give the word. also have a jerry hill strap on bow quiver I can send you. A heartwarming story, makes me thank the Lord for all he has provided for me and my family, and just how blessed I am.

         blessings,  Froggy.

gotta wonder how many blind people are out there that would love to shoot a bow; and as well bowhunt. I have seen it done; with sights on the bow; and a person behind the shooter to line up the bow. I would love to be able to help someone do that; and its obvious that others would love to help people enjoy archery too.
 Problem is- communication.
I hope this little girl has kept on shooting !

The reason I missed it was that I was on vacation that week 2 years ago, and the reason so many others did was probably because it was on the shooter forum and I moved it here.

Hopefully we'll get an update.

Terry,  Thanks for bringing it back up.  I have lost touch with Kristin too.  She must be some fine young lady now.  I'll have to email Kildog and get an up date.

As a side note to this story, I didn't know Frank & Shell that well when I asked if Shell would make me a quiver that I could buy for Kristin.  The story does not mention that Shell would not allow me to purchase it but instead gave it to Kristin in my name.  Needless to say this is how the bond of friendship between Shell, Frank, and myself blossomed. Everyone knows how giving Shell & Frank are.  Their generosity goes way beyond what most people see.

I hope Kristin is doing well.  I thank Frank & Shell for their friendship...tippit

Sorry to be so late good folks! My work keeps me away from my computer the last few months. I have not talked with young Kristen yet this year but last year she was still shooting and loving it! When I see her the elkskin quiver is still a part of her. To my knowledge she has not killed a deer yet, but I am not counting her out! For a lifetime she will remember the great tradgangers as will I. I still really appreciate what yall did for her in 2006. I have made many good friends on this site, just don't communicate much. And yes stic and shell are some of the greatest..during that time I spoke with shell several times and all that I can say is that the spirit of God dwells within her. Thanks again and when I see Kristen again I will get some updated pix and update the story. kd

this is a great story. I hope to see these folks at some of the local shoots. I have only been shooting trad for a bout six months and have not seen ANY females shooting trad at the shoots. Hell sometimes me and my buddy are the only ones shooting trad.
