Filling a knot hole?

What do y'all fill knots with? I'm working on a glass bow for my buddy that has a small not in the riser. I'd like to fill it with something clear so you can see the knot. Kinda adds character to the bow. I filled it with ca but it dried a little milky.
I cleaned the ca out as best I could. Any ideas.

In selfbows I fill knots with CA and sawdust. If it is deep I do this in layers. I don't know how to keep it clear.

Smooth on during glue up.  How big of a knot?

Could do a cool inlay, coin or medallion.

I've got several elk ivory. I considered grinding one flat on top to expose the rings in the ivory and doing an inlay with that. It Would kinda match the sheep horn overlays too

Sorry I didn't read carefully enough before attempting to give advice.  

I think this would be a great opportunity to do an inlay to accentuate the knot.  Look at metal powder inlays.  Powdered copper, brass, stainless steel, etc. mixed with epoxy and poured in.  Easy to Google pics of it.
