Acadian woods bow?
« on: July 29, 2016, 03:24:00 AM »
Hi guys.
Is there anyone familiar with acadian woods bows? The riser design (especially on the 3pc) is very unique but I haven't found any review on ot.

Any info?

I had one I regret selling. However, even after sending it to Tim to reduce the throat of the riser (he only seemed to refinish it which it did not need), it was simply too uncomfortable to shoot. I wish I had been into building bows then, I would have reshaped it myself. Other than the grip, the rest of the bow was superb.Cocobolo and osage.

What's your thoughts about the center cut arrow shelf? Any benefit over the regular shelf you see on other risers?
