Pretty sure this has been up before but lets review. How much air pressure for you guys that use the hose method and why. I think Elmont sez 70 psi which is what I use. So far so good for me.

Mike,
I try not to go more than 40/45 psi
I really try to keep an eye on my fade areas and make sure they are nice and tight and then give it a few more psi for safe measures.
Try to give your next bow a dry run and see how many psi it takes to close up all your gaps...I guess it would depend on design?
Let us know what you come up with...

I pull off the bike air pump at 70 so it is probably around 60-65

I've gone to 70 when necessary due to higher curvature with thicker lams. But once everything heats up, the pressure climbs another 10 on me. Never had a problem. I like 50-60 if everything clamps up nicely at a lower pressure.

David, I always wondered how much heat added, but never checked.
Stay sharp, Kenny.
