R/D vs D/R

On another post someone said the correct term is D/R.
For many years maybe 50 I have always heard it called Reflex/deflex.

What is the difference?

Think it is a matter of which part of the bow you address first.  Maybe there is a standard for which to refer to first?.

It all depends on how you look at it...from the tips back into the limb or from the riser out thew limb. It is all semantics. Most R/D bows deflex from the handle and reflex somewhere in the working limb. To me that would be a D/R bow but it is commonly called a R/D bow.

It is called that because the words flow a bit better. There is no difference at all. As Pat says it is all semantics

If you don't look at it from the grip out, You would be describing a simple reflexed or deflexed bow backward. Then I guess you could call it string follow or reflexed. It is semantics I guess but it would be simple to all get on the same page. Just my thoughts.      Ken
