All the best for whatever you decide.

I was a one man band in UK for 10 years before I came to Canada. Enjoyed how I made a living (sign painter) but I'm allergic to paperwork and I hated having to chase people for what they owed me, which is why I ended up working for someone else.

First 2 years of a new business are the hardest. If you can get enough regular customers for your bread and butter in the first 2 years, the jam will start to show up thereafter.
Creativity and the search for knowledge are what keep me sane(ish)

Thanks David,

I ran the biz for 5 or so years, til it and the other "real" job together started kicking my butt.

If I knew then what I know now, I would not have shut it down!   :)
Stay sharp, Kenny.

As a guy who was downsized last fall, 62 y.o., just short of 20 years with the most dysfunctional company I ever worked for, I can sympathize, Kenny.  Sucks to be thrown for that loop.  If I wasn't on a really tight budget these days, I'd definitely buy from you again, my friend.

My one and only glass bow (I'm more of a wood, wood/lam guy) was made with lams and glass from Kenny.  He helped walk me thru the build and gave me the link to a terrific build along he did awhile back.  I hit the weight I wanted and love shooting that bow.  I can't recommend Kenny more highly.  Plus, he manages to get along with Roy.  That's pretty exceptional, too.   ;)
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

Sorry to hear about your real job. For the reason you mentioned I fear you will not be the only person this happens to.   :scared:     Anyhow yes I would be back with you.
