Hello guys it's been a while since I've been on. Sometimes, not often, I'll have a set of limbs that turn out flimsy. Most of the time it's when I'm trying to build a light poundage bow. I build 3 piece take-down recurves. My risers are 15" and I only build a 60, 62 and 64" bow. The limbs are 29.5 on a 64" bow. I've been using an 8.25" wedges. Most of the time I use bamboo for my cores. Most of my limb will have clear glass over 2 veneers and 1 core. A .001 taper, no parrallel. Do any of you ever have this problem. When strung I can colaspe the limbs to the string with 2 fingers and it's a 50# bow. I've bee eliminating the parrallel to get the stack thin enought. Do you think that the wedges are to short?
