A guess on a 56" stack thickness

Its been a few years since I had time to designed a new bow and I have settled on a 56" R/D. I have the bow designed and the form ready but I do not have a reasonable guess of a starting stack thickness on such a short bow.

 I am not looking for anyones personal stacks nor copying anyones designs but i could use some help with figuring a reasonable starting stack to end up around 45 to 55 lbs. All my stack data is for 62-64 hybrids and 60" recurves.

I'm assuming this is a glass bow??

The D/R I just finished was 56"N/N.
Total stack was .310 w/.003 total taper.  Also had 6.5" tip wedges.

Bow was 56#@28" w/just the sharp edges knocked off the glass.  I took it down to 54# by knocking a little more off the edges of the glass on the back.

Thank you for the response. yes its a glass bow and the .003 taper is correct as well. I am thinking of going shorter on the tw's and making the tips static to help with the string angles and for the mechanical advantage.

Hey Shane,

On my 58" piked to 56" with 18" riser, .003 per inch, .300 "should" make 46@28+

Every form makes a bit different bow, but if you get enough feedback, you can kind of SWAG an average...

Not sure what you mean by static tip on a D/R but would like to know!

Hey kenny , how ya been?

on my design I brought my tips in slightly. I will get a pic for ya. I decided to go 58" the first run so the tips are brought in as mentioned and reflexed about 2.25. If the tips are made static so the last 3.5" or so of the limb does not open it will act as a small lever, add a bit of preload but most importantly for me they will keep the string angles lower because the tips will be stiff and vertical at fulldraw, which is 29 for me.
 
 Having static tips also helps with dialing in the limb so it will begin to just start to stack @ full draw to get the max performance from the limb. Some like to have a limb not stack past their draw length but it does leave some performance on the table for the sake of fitting more peoples draw length.

Kenny the forma is already made and i just drew it on the this piece of scrap. It should transition fairly well once i have it dialed in and play with some uni carbon on the back and foam cores.
