Heck just slap the paint on with a roller.
It's only a glass bow..   :)

Well, still not sure if it was moisture or solvent. I cleaned the gun real good before I left and didn't leave any thinner in it. When I got back from camping i sanded the bow back down on Monday and re-sprayed it. I made sure there wasn't any excess moisture in the filter first. The finish laid down good without any issues. So it's still a mystery!  But now I'm leaning toward moisture.
