« on: February 08, 2007, 01:23:00 PM »
Hi Everyone

I want to make myself a side qwiver, I'm think leather with some type of possiables bag built into it.
I'm looking for good ideas, and just know you all have had some!  :bigsmyl:  As you are all such a crafty bunch.

I hope this works:  I used a build along that from this site I just made mine a little bigger.  The first pic is when I first finished then I added a pouch which you see in the second pic.  This was my fist one and it turned out well.

Heres my 3-d shooting fancy quiver. It has a strap I made in a wampum belt type pattern and the fringe also has beads. Theres somewhere around 1,000 beads in it total. It took me forever to finish!

And here is my general hunting quiver it's the same style but much plainer, I also added a make shift piggy backer on the outside to carry a blunt and a pouch for extra strings and a bow stringer along with a few other goodies, and a sheath for my favorite knife! I made botrh myself.

The pouch is attached the same way the strap is attached.  I attached straps to the pouch and then wrapped and sewed them around the arrow I used for the brace rod.  If you guys haven't noticed how my quiver looks like the same design as adeeden's just less decorated?  It's because I used his build along here on this site.  very easy and step by step with pics.  the holes are the most timely part.  I found that using a drill with a nail as the bit work very well and saved hours of hammering.

Every one of these is outstanding. And I wish you to all know that have shared this. I THANK YOU. I am proud that you have taken the time to share them with me. When I asked this of you I had no idea what would surface. Then again thats why I asked! My desire for this, is I have some bows I just don't want to put any type on qwiver on. So I need someway to carry arrows quitely in the field. Grey Buffalo's last picture pretty well sums it up I believe. And I think for sneaking up on critters is probably just the ticket. Once again Thank You one and all for sharing. I know its time consuming taking pictures and downloading them. But you also have something I know you are very proud of. ME TO.
