Thanks guys.  Brad is the authority on the short recurve.  You need to put some pics up of the 44" takedown with the phenolic riser.  Please!!

Sweet bow! It's nice to see a shortie that's doesn't have a forward handle section.

Any possibility of a full draw pic?  I'm curious to see what the string angle looks like (plus I love seeing those short recurves at full draw!).

Was over to Jess's today and he makes a sweet bow. Sure need to put some money aside and buy one. Jess and family are a blessing.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

ty_in_nd  sorry I no longer have the little 48" bow or any photos of it at full draw.  Here is picture of a 50" drawn to 27" so would be real close.

Jess believe it or not that kt44 reproduction bow is still a work in progress!  It's on my short list to get done this summer.  I can't believe it has been 7 years since I started on it.

Thanks for the pic, Jess!  Even if it's not the exact same bow, the one you provided looks pretty sweet.  Someday I'll try to make one for myself for fun, but the challenge will be how short can I make one for a long draw (I could live with a 29" draw, but I'm most consistent at 30").

Man, I've been waiting to see that KT44 reproduction! Didn't realize it had been that long though!

I like it.  Would be nice to use that on the ground.
