Very nice! Looking forward to the finished bow

That's gonna be a beautiful bow! I like how that wood gets lighter at the bottom of the riser. Is it not just a b____ to glue up limbs with a sharp bend like that?

Mike it is a handful to get the limbs glued up with that sharp hook- since this is the second one I haven't found an easy way yet.

So I broke out the drilling jig and goth everything drilled and the inserts installed. a buddy of mine made this jig for me- works way better than my other one.

Alignment looks good.

Here's a preview with the limbs mounted and the riser shaped out a bit.

Can't wait to see a full draw on this.

In fact, I'd love to shoot it!

Worked on the bow some more- got the tips glued on-

Once those were dry I cut the string groves and strung it up. The brace height is pretty low but the tiller is even and there is minimal limb twist to deal with.

I wanted to add some over lays to the riser and the belly side of the hooks- so I dug out some burl veneers for the riser and a piece of boo with a veneer for the limbs- once the glue is dried I'll get to work shaping the riser.

No finished pictures yet... got the tips shaped and decided to glue on a thumb rest before finishing the riser. I did fling a few arrows off it and it does behave nicely- also I guess I need to find another picture hosting site since I'm not going to upgrade the current one...

OK so I figured out the picture posting- the riser needed something so I added overlays to the front and back of the riser.

I did shoot it some and it's easy to draw and shoots fairly quick. I still need to reduce the riser bulk but its slowly coming along.
