Self centering doweling Jig

Hi guys seeking advice on purchasing a self centering dowel jig , been looking at the eagle America one and the Grizzly G1874.

Any input is appreciated

Not your best choice for drilling take downs. You can get by with it though.

Hi Crooked what would you suggest id look for ?

spending 50 + on a tool thats not the best sure doesnt seem appealing  :)

I typed this a while ago and it did not take.Anyhow you can use it. Drill the bolt hole only in you limb. Then drill and install the riser insert. Now you can bolt the limbs on and get them tracking straight now drill the line up pin thru the limb into the riser.  Now overlay the limb butt. If you can bolt the jig on with the limb or your hole spacing may be off a bit.

Callekanin to help you out I manufacture a self centering drilling jig design for takedown bows. It has all of the correct drill sizes and the spacing so limbs fit accurately. Please check out this YouTube video so you can see a demonstration on how easy it is use.
