So I was out in the garage today finishing up the revamp of my shorty longbow form and a buddy of mine stopped by. He is primarily a wheelie guy, but does have a recurve that he occasionally shoots. While we're shooting the bull I continued to work on the form. Checking square, sand a little, check again, feel for bumps, sand a little, check for square again.....you get the picture.
After a while he finally pipes off with "Man, does it really have to be that perfect. Your building a stickbow, not a rocket."
My smart a#* replied "You're right. I'm not building a rocket. It's waaaay more important. I'm building the rocket launcher!!!"
