Replacing limb tips

Need to replace tip laminates on old Bradshaw recurve what materials ,tools and glue will be needed will I need to make a jig to fit the curve of the limb tip

You can get the old stuff off with a rasp and sandpaper. No need for for a jig if you use materials such as 1/16 phenolic then thin wood or more phenolic. Something that will bend when clamped in place. blue cap Gorilla CA will work fine. Smooth on even better. A fine chain saw file and rasp to re groove and reshape. Be sure to bevel the ends that fade out before gluing. Much easier to get them looking good.
