Ok, just to be sure:
If a lam has 0.003" taper, it means that it`s thinner by 0.003" for every inch.
So, for a 34" long lam, one end
will be- 0.003 X 34 = 0.102" thinner then the
other end. Converted to mm, it`s 2.59mm.
So, if I make my tapered sled 10mm thick at one end, I`ll need to make it 7.41mm thick at the other end.
Am I right or wrong?
I`ll also like to know if you guys have a way of making a tapered sled without a tablesaw (I do have a circular saw). My tapered sled SUCKS.
