Nock and fletching questions
« on: January 09, 2018, 09:54:00 AM »
I could have sworn I saw a link to someone selling turquoise colored fletchings.  I don't really care as to what brand they are as, for this project, a color theme is more important.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Secondly, for most of the arrows I've built to date, I've used either reinforced self nocks or Bohning classic nocks.  I'm happy with both methods, but there are a lot of other choices out there. Can anyone share their experiences with other brands of nocks?

Thanks guys!

You will probably get better answers on this if you post it on the Pow Wow section.  They talk arrows a lot over there.

GATEWAY makes a couple of blues.
The denim is a darker blue.
The "blue" color looks like a lighter blue.
I haven't seen it in person, but it might be what you're looking for.

You can dye them yourself with Rit dye and alcohol if you can't find them.

hey...on another thread someone was looking for low spine kids' arrows.
Wapiti Archery was mentioned.
They sell a light blue fletch that may fit your bill as well.
...they even call it turquoise.
