good thing i cant see it- but folk around me tend to step back and kinda start to duck

I had the opportunity to rasp and scrape a hickory backing off of a lemonwood ALB I was making when a splinter popped loose in the backing. I'm trying to save the lemonwood belly. Still more to do but at least I got this far.

It's my own design. Sixty inch NTN. This one should come in around 55#. Leastways I'm hoping it does
