Just back from lumber place , got a pile of sweet hard maple, some red elm, ash , and 240 board feet of osage in 1 and 2" thick.

Wife and I went to a trad shoot.

Bought her a raffle ticket for a new bow.

After we got home, we got a call that she won it:)

Will be built to her specs.

So it was a good day.

It is a gwass bow, smarty pants.

Bad news is my skeeter bite on my forearm has swollen to 4 inches long and 3 inches wide.

Red and itchy. Skeeters carry lyme disease too.

So I started on antibiotics last night.

Another model #2 done in maple and redheart. This seems to be a pretty popular color combo as this is the third one I've done. What makes this one special is that I've lengthened the riser from the usual 18" to 22". This allows me to build a taller sight window and the ability to install a sight.

This one measures 62" NTN and draws 33# @ 28"
