Scary when Brad inspires someone..

Got home yesterday from a 4 day 3D camping event and 4 hour drive.

Today is a day of rest and recuperation.. :)
Hey!!!
I'm a very inspiring person.

People always say they wanna drink more when they're around me. Seems pretty inspirational to me. :dunno:

People tell me, I am more interesting, when they are drinking.

Refinished a riser from a bow that fell out of the back of the truck onto pavement. Clear coat wheel finish

Very nice Roy!

I like to build my own shafts and arrows too.  Sometimes, one of my friends who hunt will bring me turkey wings and I will grind and chop my own fletchings as well.  One of these days I'm going to try a feather burner.

I seldom see much discussion of arrow building on Trad Gang.  Maybe we could create a forum specifically for arrows/arrow building?  That might be cool. ;)

I just got rid of a chopper.  Just didn't care for it.

Burning is my favorite.  Very versatile.

The Young burner is pretty pricey these days but there are a bunch of DIY projects on YouTube.

I have an old Young feather burner that was given to me many years ago by an old archer that had it for many years. Still works like new. I burn feathers on the front porch with a breeze blowing...although it the wind shifts my beard smells like burnt feathers for hours. :knothead:
I have a nice set of Sitka spruce arrows in the works. I'll post pics when done. I made a trade for some trade points that will go on 6 of them.

I bought a Vario Clipper several years ago and put my Young feather burner on the Trad Gang St Jude auction, the Vario is that good. I wish they still made the Vario but I understand that Herb in Canada is making a replica.

I finally got the Bocote sealed and finished up and added a really bad first attempt at a handle wrap that I will redo someday. 47# @ 28 and sends them pretty good. It's a 62" KennyM design and I can't be more please with the performance. I won't brag much on aesthetics since that was all my doing  :bigsmyl:

All in all though I would say that within 15 yards 3 out of 4 critters have cause for concern.
