I'm working on two different designs using CNC...getting close, but don't have anything to show yet.

The last picture, that little insert in the foreground has screws running in from the outside sides that move it left or right for limb alignment.

That will be your biggest challenge Kenny.

Thanks Roy, mine is gonna be a wood riser for a friend. He liked the grip on my hunting bow so much he wants an ILF with same grip.

I think I can rig a router table to do the insert, the lateral adjust screws may be a challenge for sure. The wood riser I have just has them threaded in the wood I think. It's a cheap riser. I will go to the machine shop and see about threaded inserts and set screws.

I dont know if those adapters are still available but the were called donkey plates they had the bolt hole and all. You just had to route a 3/4 slot in the limb pad and screw them in.

One of the few that still has pics. There was a nice one copying the covert hunter riser but with ilf made of cherry.

I think Tom Mann on FB made those adapter plates. Dont know if they are still available though.

Well. glued the first glueup today. Got a plan going, got the hardware parts today , all there is left to do , is do it.  :saywhat:
