I can shave some more there, alsoon back closer to brass bezels. will give a bit more sight window too.

Yes, it is 17" so must be medium limbs.

So what is the scoop on how to measure an ILF riser? I just took measurements off this guys Morrison.....

You measure the length between the center of the limb bolts and add 5" for the amount length of your bow.

I’m a long ways from being any kind of expert on anything, but that looks like a fantastic ILF riser to me. I have 5 or 6 risers from different makers..........that looks as good if not better than most   I think you did a fantastic job........          :clapper:

Kenny it really looks nice. But here are my thoughts bro. Overall I like it. Only thing I would do is round off those sharp corners on the belly side of the riser. I like a sleek smooth transition on the riser. But that's just what I like.

But you did excellent dude.

Thanks guys! I struggled with the look, but after consulting with the guy who wanted it, he picked a couple bows he liked the looks of and I sorta adapted to that. Also you gotta stay away from the hardware in there some.

He is liking the looks of it and he is the one that counts!  I like it too.....

And steal away!! There aren't any totally new ideas in bows.  :)

How does the limb alignment work out at the end?

Worked great! The brass dovetails have a smaller dovetail than the ones my limbs came off of so only 2 turns adjustment. Other than that , great!

I had brass bushings that had a set screw in them, but the blackwood was so hard I bought #10 set screws and a tap for them and just tapped the wood. Less visible too , so win/win.

Got a couple coats of finish on it, would like to keep it, it is sweet!!

Looks nice. I bet the riser has pretty good mass with the blackwood and bocote.
