I am a bit concerned though and maybe some experience will chime in. After I mixed the epoxy really well and started laying it on, I noticed it was granular. At that point I was committed so I went all in.

Has anyone else seen EA-40 get grainy?

I've seen the "A" get gritty but it seems to smooth out if warmed up.  When it gets like that I relegate it to furniture repairs, etc.

That limb could last six, eight months!

Will that be the furniture I break if the limb comes apart?    :D

That would be the heavy duty all terrain moose. You should see one climb a steep hill!    ;)

I had some do that. Used it to glue together overlay material. After 72hrs at room temp, it still hadn’t completely hardened. So I trashed them.

Hopefully the oven cures it for you.

The squeeze out seems to have set up ok, we'll see tomorrow when I can turn it loose.

Lonnie, I hope it works, I've never seen smooth on seem grainy. If it hardened it should be ok, only time I've had problems with smooth on I had to much part B in the mix.

Not sure how a victim could justify NOT liking that. Very nice.

It looks like the limb has survived the first stage of it's life. No apparent bubbles, the EA-40 seems to be ok in spite of the graininess and I managed to keep all the tape on the outside of the limb this time.

I am pleased with how the Beli looks under glass although I am not completely sold on the riser accents. I may have to be at the rate I am getting this built.

When it comes time to sign the thing I feel I should pass it around to a number of people here to sign as well, I think y'all have put as much in to this as I am.

Enough chatter, here is the progress so far with the second limb in the box.
