From the time the leaves start to drop until the start of trapping season I’ll be found under a brushy tree with a bent stick in my hand, harassing all the fluffy critters.
I’ve decided to make my victims bow into a Hedeby Viking bow as opposed to a more Victorian style elb. I’ll be back to it as soon as I can get a Penobscot down to weight. 40# at 27” before I lashed in the backer bow, and 70# at 15” after. I was more expecting a 20-25# weight gain, not that much. I’m glad I need to drop weight as the main bow could flex more in the outer half of each limb.ill get that evened out then I’ll drop some weight from thenbacker bow.
