Thanks guys!

Chris if your bow looks as good as your form you have nothing to worry about. My forms are never that nice.

Kyle, can't wait to see the full draw picture with that natural hinge on the right limb.. That gotta be fun tillering..     :)

Why do you have the string grooves so far in from the ends of the limb tips?

Thanks for bringing up the picture. I still haven’t been able to get it to do that from my phone yet. I need to play with it some more.
I’m copying the Viking style with this bow.(can’t remember the name atm). Where they left bracing levers past the nock. Which is a single side nock. The levers really aren’t needed on a bow of this draw weight. But why not. And if it ends up a bit thumpy in the hand I can cut them off later. I made one bow in this style before and it was an eastern red cedar self bow pulling 40# at 27”. It was the smoothest shooting bow I’ve shot, no thump at all, even with te levers. Though that could be because it was ERC and a dense Osage might act different.

She be Done...  Time to Victimize...

  A little about the bow...

Sheoak riser with wenge and maple accents, Maple cores in the limbs, Custom glass on the over lay that reminds me of a mineral rock that shimmers in the light... Solid glass tip blocks similar to G-10...

That is pretty darn nice.. Good thinking with the crevice on the shelf for the fletching to traverse through. Damn good thinking.

Ok,after two back to back hell weeks at work, I finally got to spend some quality time out in my shop with the tools and equipment I love best!

Made some good progress on my victim's bow.  Got her glued up and baked, and this time, all the lams came out in the correct orientation.

The pics here don't do the lacewood justice.  It looks incredible under glass.  I'll post more pics as I go.

I got my tips mostly done, there is a lack of symmetry in a couple of spots but they may just stay that way and I will market it as character.

Next I have to figure out why my limb pads ended up not flat.    :banghead:
