Well, in past years if I was getting underway in March I'd be pretty proud of myself. But this year, y'all are making me feel like I've never been farther behind!

Tonight I finished laying out my design and cut and faired my router template for my new form. Then I realized I didn't have the right glass on hand so had to send Kenny a quick email to set things right again. Have most of the day off on Friday, so hoping to finish up the form and cut some lams before being tied up for the weekend.

As this is a completely new design for me, I'm doubting I'll hit weight on the first try. But I think I have a home or two for the practice bows. In the meantime, maybe I can figure out how to make my bows less Plain Jane after everything that's been posted. Competition is tough this year!

Sorry for your luck Yosemite.  Have you considered using the bike tire inter tube method?  It's a good option when doing a single lamination and is inexpensive.  That would be my go to if I didn't have enough clamps.
*Edit- just re read your post and realized you already have your current bow glued up.  Hope it works out.

And leave the bottom lam a lil wider. Two bamboo tooth picks in the handle help to. Ive done it before.

The innertube idea still needs some sort of form to set it in, right?

Nope.  I just mean wrapping the lamination tightly with the intertube.  I'll send you a PM.

Riser cleaned up and cut to size.  Every step of this is incredibly stressful since its my first time making a laminate haha.

Hey Chris...  I feel Yah Bro...  At least you got this crazy bunch for support...  back in the day when I made my first bow and was not on any forum the limb had a slight twist at brace...  I spent hours trying to figure out which side to sand to straighten it out...  Talk about stress...

Thanks for the encouragement guys!  I will be shaping it Saturday at the wood shop, any tips on making the bandsaw cuts before I dive into this? I am planning on borrowing Kenny's riser design for this one, and will be running the 0.100" maple lam with a 0.002" taper up the ramps.  Think that's too drastic of a curve?

I think you can do it. I would make a clamp to hold riser in place while you get the lams pushed down into the curves of ramps. I also glue a little block with beveled ends to flat on riser block  on belly to push the lams and belly glass against (with CA). It doesn't have to be full width of lams and riser, it's just a stop that grinds off later. Make sure it isn't thicker than lams and glass if you use it.

Oh, do a dry run to be sure all works right before you put the slickery glue to it!!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Just dropped off a white pipe at the post office. It says 2 day shipping, so it should be there by Wednesday. Seems like those 2 or 3 days are a, they’ll be that at quickest.

Just glued up my riser a little bit ago. Note to self, if I make another bow oven, make it a little wider! Like to have not gotten my riser in my oven because of the clamps.

I feel your pain. Mine needs to be 2” taller. If I don’t use the right bar clamps I can’t get my bows in mine.
