Thank you for the kind word Chris, I like helping folks build them!
I shot her a bit ago, first eyeballed a brass nock on the nice Flemish string. Then took my hunting shafts practice arrows and a bare shaft out to the target. They are 500s GT with a 200 grain point. They work perfectly on my 48# TD longbow .
They are too weak for this 50# bow, but I toned the speed on my TD down a bit with 3 sets of silencers.
Kind of a backward way, but I go thru more bows than arrows so I try to tune the bow to the arrow sometimes.
This bow shoots great, wish I had some 400s to use , need to get some , I have about 3 bows now that need em.!!
Will have some pics including full draw when my fone gets charged back up!
The full draw pic is a sweet crescent bend that I absolutely love in a bow!!
On another note, I need to use these trade bows more, and Renee says take some does this year, the bucks I wait on are not as good to eat.
So I may go thru the bows I have received in the trades and try to take a deer with each one. (Except in the first half of November)
