This has been a steep learning curve for me but happy to have stumbled upon this world

Everything looks good except you need to thin those fades down quite a bit. No more than a 1/4 in. back two inches from the ends and even thinner dont hurt.

It is looking good to me.  I would like to see some more pics showing the profile and some full draw when you get to it!

Try flipping your lam splices so their opposite and offset them from each other a bit more. Acts more like a interlocking joint vs potential weak point.

you know Cody, i have tried that before on some of my bows- i never liked the look of it, it always looked like an "oops" to me   :knothead:    :D  

i too, like squid, prefer them to be kinda matched.

i do think that structurally- under glass it does not really matter- however in an all wood laminate- i would agree- the joint would need serious consideration.
anyway, just my thoughts on it- everyone will have different views on it i guess!
