The forward handle revisited, started completely over with form, think I killed it this time. This is what I wanted it to look like!!   :bigsmyl:

I have to do some testing first before making a plan on it. See what draw length it will handle and if it performs decent.

Then draw up plan and get printed. So it will be a bit if it checks out.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

The first two photos remind me of the ancient Egyptian Angular bow.

I prefer it that way, without all the palm-filling ergonomic stuff on the belly side.  It should work just fine without that stuff, which would make me want to buy such a bow.

What's the length and draw weight going to end up?

It is 54.35 @28”  and 60” ntn

Ran her thru chrony , think it is a keeper

Here is 28” draw
Shot thru chrony at 28” measured on shooting machine

545 grain arrow -10.03 gpp - 186 FPS

454 grain arrow - 8.35 gpp - 194 FPS

Using fingers release will lose 4-5 FPS
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Brace with shop string is 7.25 , felt ok shooting but I’m pretty insensitive , or so I’ve been told....

Shot more on machine than with fingers too. Got to get grip finished roughing in and some arrows that are actually tuned to it.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I think it is pretty much same as the shorter bow and the 64” modified, all running in mid 180s with what I call a hunting weight arrow .

But I would bet this one has a better string angle for its length I like the Egyptian compsite bow brace profile look ,that is a slick looking bow kenny !
