Oklahoma 8pt
« on: January 15, 2009, 02:12:00 PM »
First day of the new year and a pretty good start I'd say!  He was a little younger than I'd like but he had a broken front leg and the coyotes have been bad.  So, I was happy to put him down quickly.  Zipped 2 through him so fast he didn't know what happened and he didn't go 20 yards.  Both shots were at 20 yards as well.

death by long bow would be way better than death by coyotes.  Well done brother.

Thanks guys.

Gerardo,
He did run about 10 yards after the first shot, but he never got further away than 20 and after the second shot...he took two more steps and just stood there bleeding.  It was cool.  I could hear the blood dripping on the leaves.

Daren,
Bingo on northern Osage county.  Two miles north of Pawhuska actually.
