Well done.  Is the fox native there or was it introduced?

Foxes were introduced to Australia and are a major predator of our native wildlife.  They are baited, shot, trapped etc but still thrive here.

Foxes respond to callers very well and sometimes you have to cover a fair bit of ground stopping and calling as you go.  Usually standing in front of some form of cover, tree, bushes gives enough cover. I always wear gloves and a face veil which helps.  This one didn't see the draw untill it was too late.  Sometimes the movement as you draw is just enough to stop them and you can get a shot as they try and work out what you are.  Other times they bolt at the movement.  They are not easy but are plenty of fun and a challenge. Called in eight for one grassed on this day.
Cheers
Tom
