Bisch's June 2009 South Africa Hunt
« on: July 04, 2009, 02:33:00 PM »
Well, I just returned from my dream hunt in South Africa with Ledjadji Safaris in the Limpopo Province. I had a great hunt and was able to harvest a few animals. Here are the pics:

My first African animal was a nice Impala ram.
This is me and the tracker, Joseph, with my ram-

Next up was a nice boar Warthog-

That same day I shot a nice sow Warthog with my Arvin Weaver selfbow-

Next up was a Guinnea Fowl-

This 54" Kudu bull was definitely the highlight of my hunt-

And my last animal was another boar Warthog taken in the last minute of the last afternoon of the hunt. It was not recovered until the next morning after we left for the airport but I did get a neat pic off of the video.

This is a pic as the arrow impcts the Warthog-

I am putting together a story with lots more pics that I will post in The Dark Continent forum. I had a great time and can't wait to go back.

The Kudu weighed 651#. He was a beast and my PH said he was 8-10 years old.
