WV Deer
« on: November 22, 2009, 12:32:00 AM »
I think it's been a little too quiet on here from my WV brothers and sisters of the bow.  Heres a couple of mine from this year, no big monsters, just good eatin' deer.  The spike was fat and good size for his age, the doe was an old cow headed doe, nice and fat too.

The spike was killed on the 29th of October, the doe on the 20th of November.  I used a TradTech Titan for both, the CarbonWood recurve limbs on the spike, the TradTech Longbow Limbs for the the doe.  The Titan is just a shooter, no if's, and's, or but's about it.  I will admit and confide this too, I'm sold on Stinger 4 blade Broadheads.  Blood trails are great, outstanding pentration, durability is untouchable, just a great head period.

Thanks goes out to my great friend Al Leftwich (Big Al on here), he's got a good eye for the photos, sorry I'm not too good at modeling though.
