Photobucket?
« on: January 10, 2011, 06:57:00 PM »
I have had a lot of problems with photobucket lately. At this point I haven't been able to even load ANY picture on it. Is anyone else having issues? Is there any other way to download photos to this site?

Photobucket always runs slow for me, but it works.  Just uploaded some pics tonight.

I might be lucky but the only problem I have had is it would lock up as I was trying to choose the photos. This has only happened a couple times.

Alternatives are imgur or imagelinky...both are fairly easy to use.  With imagelinky you have to resize the picture BEFORE you upload it.  With imgur, it gives you the option to resize as you start to upload.

IMAGELINKY.COM ROCKS. wayyyyyyy easier than photobucket.just be sure to resize your pics at the location you load/store them on your computer.

For myself PB was getting slower and slower. Now if fails to load the photo. I get a big red X and it says an error occured in the uploading?

Thanks Rastaman, I guess I'll give one of those a try......

I got a new camera for Christmas. That way I can show off all the animals I see every day. Gonna start a thread now that I can post again! Thanks!

When I post from Photobucket to here, my pics seem way too big.  Are you guys resizing on photobucket to get the size above or are you resizing here somehow?  Thanks for the help.

right in this forum, at the top of the page is a sticky topic on exactly how to use photobucket to automatically resize images on the fly.
