Footed Shafts
« on: March 11, 2008, 02:54:00 PM »
I am thinking of having some of the POC shafts I recently purchased footed with a hardwood. I was wondering who you would recommend based on your experience. Any pics of their work would be cool too. Thanks.

These are 12 Wenge and 12 Purpleheart done by Raptorarchery.com. I sent Ted my shafting which he footed and applied the tapers.
The Wenge is insanely beautiful; Dontcha' think?

I made some wenge footed shafts a few years back and the are SHARP to say the least.  Right next to cocobola for beauty. dino

Those are mighty fine looking shafts. I think the next bunch I make will have to be footed. Gary

Very nice shafts those alright. Nothing better shooting a critter with a footed arrow.
