Flickr and iPhone?
« on: July 07, 2014, 10:53:00 AM »
I am trying to use flickr instead of PB on my iPhone but I can't get the URL to copy to tradgang. I was wondering if anybody could help me out  with this or tell me if it even possible?
Thanks,
Thad

just to be clear, and as you may already understand, the issue isn't with trad gang, it's with your iphone's browser.

"smart" phones are just a different type of computer, with hardware and operating/application software that's unlike what you'd find in a real personal computer (desktop, laptop, etc).

there have been, and continue to be, ***LOTS*** of problems with dumb, er, smart phones and the internet.  net/web processes that work just fine on real computers may work either differently or not at all on a smart phone.  usually/typically, the problem is with the browser, and i suggest you address that first with the folks at apple.  good luck!

Thanks..... I never thought it was a tradgang problem, I thought it was user error.  I dont mind posting photos on a real computer, I just thought it was more convenient to use my dumb phone that Iactually take the pictures with. I thought I was missing something but I dont mind going back to PB. I was just looking for a new place to store photos that might be a little more user friendly.
Thanks,
Thaddeus

call up apple - they're the smart folks for their dumb phones.   :D

seriously, i doubted it was you, it's more than likely an issue with the iphone browser - perhaps there's a trick to learn, or maybe it's just not flickr friendly.

please report back and share yer findings so we can all learn!  tia!
