Photobucket has added a new option to user accounts. This option blocks access to your Photo Album and access to your images.
WHAT THIS MEANS is that any image you post anywhere on the internet is "locked" - this means that anyone clicking on your image to save it, or to view it in its full size, or to see it in your photobucket album, will get an error message.
THE ONLY way that anyone can save your posted image is to do a screen capture. THIS is what we're doing for all Member of the Week images, IF you are using Photobucket and IF you are restricting access to your images.
The Link back to albums option changes the HTML and IMG link codes that your Photobucket account generates. If the option is unchecked, your shared photos do not link back to your Photobucket account when a guest clicks them.
The HTML code for any photo only links back to the photo itself on Photobucket.
The links do not give viewers the ability to browse your private album, regardless of your Link back to albums setting.
To allow viewing image in your Photobucket Album, you must go to your Photobucket Account, select User Settings and click on the Albums tab. Here you'll see the Link back to albums option near the bottom of the page, and then check it to allow album and images access.
