Longbow Rabbits '10
« on: February 13, 2010, 06:03:00 PM »
My first rabbit hunt ever! Ended up bagging two with my longbow. Nearly got a third. A great day. Nothing like a traditional rabbit hunt in Michigan with friends!

My goals for my first hunting season was a deer, a rabbit, and Turkey. I'm 2 for 3 so far.

Thanks guys! Cleaned 'em up and will get some into the crock pot tomorrow. I haven't eaten rabbit since I was 12 years old.

Broketooth, I love that shirt! I just picked it up in Kzoo from GFA. Kept me warm all day and it is awesome to shoot in.

Nice job.   Pop'in rabbits with a stick and string can be a lot of fun.

I'll have to look into that.

I'm heading out again on Saturday with the same group. Hoping to hit it earlier and harder. I've got a whole quiver full of heavy aluminum arrows with Game Knabber glue-on points that I can't wait to try.
